This next post is a bit weird but very surprising + interesting. This article is about a thief who sent ‘sorry’ letter to a shop. Imran Ahmed who owed Raja’s Food was stunned to open the remorseful letter. The letter was enclosed with £100 to pay 400 cigarettes that the thief stolen from the shop about 7 years ago (2001). The thief said he is a former drug’s addict who has a mess life. He also wrote that he got the chance to steal the cigarettes when he saw someone had broken into the shop late one night. Now he is paying all his wrong doings and wants to start a new life.
Well, this is good news. I don’t think many stealers out there would have this gut. We should congrats to this brave thief for his efforts to change. Yeeaahhh!! *clapping* if this behaviour were taken by somebody else, this world will obviously would works peacefully. I hope this generous behavior will be followed and would be taken as example.
To: the thief who conscious of his own conduct
You have done pretty awesome thing, man! I admired your honesty and your gut! I hope what you have trying to put things right will bring you a great outcome. I know it isn’t easy to confront everything that we did in the past and everyone surrounding us but just hang there, buddy! You’ll get through it.. All the best for you!

He Killed His Teacher

Oh man! This is scary article. To summarize it, it is about a former school teacher who was killed by his former student in South Korea. The victim was known as Song (the teacher) who accused Kim (the killer) of cheating during test in 1987. He told the police that he was accused by Song of cheating during exam and he was given several beating about 100 times. Ouch! That was harsh! Furthermore, Kim went to see his former teacher to apologize last January but his teacher ignored him. He tried many ways such as calling him on the phone and showing up at his school but still there was no response! Poor Kim~ Angered with all the ignored, he confronted Song outside his house last Sunday night and killed him.
Man! That’s brutal! I think Kim wasn’t having the intention to kill his teacher. May be he was just accidentally killed him. You know accidentally like he was may be defending himself as Song in other way tried to kill Kim. Well, it would obvious if Song tried to kill him since Kim was disturbing and forcing Song to accept his apology. Stubborn you Kim! ;b Anyway, what Kim did was absolutely wrong. He shouldn’t have killed his former teacher although he hated him that much. There are other ways to solve it other than killing people, right? Just ignore him back, Kim! I know Kim should be punishing according to his inappropriate act. I am curious why Song didn’t accept Kim’s apology? Was his crime that hard to forget? I know, i know he’s too over, right? So to conclude everything, don’t kill anyone if you fade up with them! Haha Let bygone be bygone. Just stay back and continue with your life!
P/s If you saw me cheating, don’t spank and please don’t ignore me, okay Ms Sheena? =)

Keep your eyes to the monitor! It’s time for me to post after have been awhile leaving this post blank. Haha The post that I’m going to write is about my opinion on this article. This article is all about jazz which help to develop young minds. In this case, the brilliant 47 years old musician, Wynton Marsalis, co-founded Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. Jazz at Lincoln Center sponsors youth events including an annual nationwide high school jazz band competition and festival, a Band Director's Academy and a popular concert series for kids use jazz as part of his career to inspire and cultivate young minds. He also stated that jazz helps younger kids, especially, to connect with their innermost feelings and learn that there is nothing wrong with being real. Vary from his partner which also his idol, David Yarborough; he started to be in the business after the 1988 death of one of his students in a drug trafficking incident. That’s why Yarborough decided to create a program geared toward music enrichment and mentorship during off-school hours. Isn’t this inspiring? Well, I won’t deny anything about how music can develop our brains. Many people and majority is from students saying that music help to confide in with our daily frustrations. The irritation from those who pinches your last nerve from your mother who asked to do house chores to your sister who took your favourite pen to your boyfriend or girlfriend who started to start a fight, the one you envision yourself punching in the nose, or the tutors who won't accept your late paper because you were late by five minutes. Well, that’s quite some, right? So what we need is just turn on our ipod / mp3 / radio/ turn on mtv / channel v and let the music keep you high darlin’! =)
p/s so Ms Sheena, do you have any latest song? =)

Obesityyy strikes Brunei 2
The more fat people there are, the more being fat is seen as normal. A half century ago, when obesity and overweight were relatively rare in this country, fat people were regularly ridiculed by entertainers, and this ridicule helped to keep people thin. As more and more people become fat, fatness becomes more normal-seeming, and the ridicule ceases (though another factor is the march of "political correctness," which discourages criticism of people's weaknesses).
But separating out common causes from social influence is difficult. My social network consists almost entirely of affluent, educated people who are knowledgeable about calories and about the health effects of overweight, who can easily afford both expensive alternatives to junk food and may be owned exercise equipment, and who (this of course is related to their affluence and education) have a low discount rate and thus do not neglect long-term consequences of current behavior. One expects these people to be thin even if they are uninfluenced by the weight of the other people in their network. And likewise at the other extreme, with networks composed of people who are poor and badly educated and have high discount rates, all of which are correlated with obesity.
Still, it is plausible that there would be some social influence within these networks. The reason is that there is no clear notion of an optimal weight. Nobody bothers to compute his body mass, which requires translating one's weight from pounds to kilograms and then dividing by the square of one's height in meters. (What’s with the calculation?? just wanna look smart haha) If you weigh 180 pounds, though you should weight only 150, but your friends weigh 200 pounds, you will tend to think of yourself as thin. Overweight may also be related to a decline in social conformity. There is more variety in people's dress, hair length, etc., than there was fifty years ago. Maybe it has become easier to make judgments about people without relying on crude signals, such as physical appearance. Then the costs of a non-normal appearance would fall, and this would help to explain the increase in overweight.
A further point has to do with sedentary life style. That is rightly regarded as a risk factor for obesity. But in addition, being sedentary reduces the cost of being obese, since the less active one is; the less one is impeded by being obese. Fatness tends to creep up on one, and the less costly it is, the less incentive one has to lose weight, which is difficult. Whichever our actions are, there will be consequences that is going to be regardless of how you are going to solve it. There are certain times when this issues would bring about the one we call it’s the "weirdness" and "awkwardness" to any situations that we are in currently in. Sometimes bringing these issues would also produce a negative feedback to ourselves, having said that we must ensure this feedback would also be integrated into the solutions. Learn from whatever the feedback that can came up. Yes, not all issues are to be brought against us or others, but there are also positive outcomes based on bringing about those unresolved issues. It is just a matter of choosing the right actions into the unresolved issues. That is why we need to focus also the issues and matters at hand before we try to solve unresolved issues in the past. One issue at a time.

Be selective when trying to resolve them. Think before we do it..

Obesityyy strikes Brunei
GOOODDD MOORRRNNIIINNGGG EEVVERRRYYONNNEEE!! It’s almost noon (11.22 am) and I’m now having my GP in the computer lab. Today, we were given a topic about OBESITY. Talking about obesity, i think every country suffered this kind of problem and they're trying to overcome it. Obesity in my opinion is a fat that accumulated in our body and the fat becomes bigger and bigger but in more scientific definition, it was stated that obesity is a condition where there is excess body weight due to an abnormal accumulation of fat which defined objectively as a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or more. Like in Brunei, I think obesity is one of the major problems that we are having now. Well, we can’t deny about it as we can see those ‘big’ people are all around us even right besides you now. Isn’t it? Unfortunately, we can’t blame anyone for it because FOOD is UNRESISTABLE. Well, you know ‘FOOD IS FOR THOUGHT’ so it is kinda hard to avoid it but I know everyone is trying to reduce the amount but not to avoid it 100%. If we do avoid it, I am pretty sure all Bruneian will be skinny and everyone will look like a skeleton haha and im pretty sure obesity in brunei would be vanished 100% but ANEROXIA will be waiting @ the end of the road! C’mon laa guys..?!! How came we can avoid fast food in this country? How can we don’t eat burger? French fries? Grill and fried chicken? Haha ok, enough of that! Back to our survey!
As I said earlier, Ms Sheena gave us a survey on snack food and we have to complete the survey to figure out about our snack food habits plus she said we have to compare our survey with our neighbors. In this case, my neighbors are Akalily and Suhailah =) In the survey, i think i rarely drink fizzy drinks,, may be once a month or a week. Mostly depends on the day or the occasions =) I am not much a fizzy drink’s junkie =) well, both neighbors saying that they were having same answer as me which is once a month or a week. I think this is a good sign because we now realized that fizzy drinks contain lots and lots of sugar.. What about bags of snack foods such as potato chips, pretzels and cheesies? i do eat them but to make it more surprising, i think i only eat a bag of those junks, may be once a week or three times a month and i prefer to buy a smaller one because you know, i don't have enough MONEY to buy the big one haha but if i do have, i would buy the SUPEERRRSIZZZEE haha (apanya urg brunei? JGN ALANG2) =p and once again, my answer are same as Suhailah’s. Since I was in PTE, I think it’s like every day that I eat candy. Haha I would say that I am a CANDY’S ADDICT. Vary from Suhaila’s answer, she told me that she only eats 4 times a week. Well, that’s ok =). The next question is about how often do we eat baked or fried sweets such as cookies or donuts? Hmff.. I can’t say much of it because I rarely eat those stuffs.. To make it more specifically, I only eat cookies if there is cookies @ home, may be once a week or twice a month especially during special occasions laa, for eg, Hari Raya haha for sure! But I loveee cookies though especially from Famos Amos *hmfff nyum nyum * ;P plus donuts from Bakelynn waaaaaa~~~ that’s a big WWAAAAAA for it and big thumbs up! Compared to Suhailah’s, she only eat may be once a month. That’s ok! =)
Furthermore, I think I don’t eat sweetened cereal like Honey Stars, Cornflakes, Coco Crunch and whatever that so often during breakfast or whenever. Well, sometimes if my mom bought it, that will be our breakfast though. What I am trying to say is, it all depends to my mom! She prepares everything for us but im not trying to say that we can’t do it ourselves.. well, you know! Mom knows everything~~ haha apakanz?!! NEXXXTTTT~~ I like this question, how often do you eat at fast food outlets such as Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds, etc?? my answer is simple! SELDOM! It is not that I don’t like to go there, it just that I DON’T HAVE MONEYYYY haha *banar x a!* I think, may be once a month, atupunn if kana blanja haha well, Suhailah said she went there like twice a month perhaps. Andd I prefer to go to Ideal or Jolibee rather than Ayamku, KFC or McD but Suhailah like KFC better. Weelll, different people, different taste haha Size of serving?? Mostly I choose regular but depends on what they have on their menu. Vary from Suhailah’s, she would have her meals to be in supersize but she have to share with her other siblings.. poor herr~~ more to say, jimattt bajet! Hehe LOL. Finally, the last question. The question is how often do you “super-size” your order? The answer is simple! NEVERR! It is because if I super-size my order, it would double up the price! It’s not all about how much fat do we eat, it’s also about money we’re talking here guys! Haha ;P i don’t want to spend all my money that I saved for super-size meals. C’mon laaa… hmff like I said earlier, Suhaila did super-size her meals but they have to share it so everyone can have equally.
p/s i didnt write Akalily's answer because she was busy blogging so i didn't want to disturb her =)
